In preparation for the Feast of Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary (Monthi Fest), there will be Novena in Konkani for nine days starting from August 30, 2017, at 7:45 p.m. on weekdays and at 8:30 p.m. on obligation days.
On September 8, we will be celebrating Monthi Fest in a grand manner at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ruwi with the showering of flowers followed by solemn High Mass in Konkani at 8:00 p.m. continued by a short Cultural program and dinner.
Holy Spirit Church, Ghala will also be celebrating Monthi Fest with a traditional dinner on September 9, which will be preceded by nine days of Novena starting from August 30.
